ONLY FOR SMART PEOPLE TO AVOID “SMART” DISEASES

Modern Trend:  As the usage of “smart phones”, computers, and Lap-tops is going on increasing, the
susceptibility of several related disorders are also increasing. The symptoms vary from person to person in accordance with physical fitness of the concerned person.   When any one tends to behave abnormally and feels discomfort with regard to his/her day to day functioning of his/her particular organ or organ system, then we can assure that it is the starting point of such diseases caused due to prolonged exposure to electromagnetic waves emitted by electronic devices.

Symptoms:  It varies significantly from person to person. Commonly, the victim experiences problems such as sleeplessness, neck pain, headache, constipation, loss of appetite, irritation, aversion towards positive routine work and so on. Usually the above problems will be associated with some behavioral changes

We could observe people speaking by cell phones in public places continuously for hours to a person who is living just in front of his plot. Whenever one uses a cell phone, the electromagnetic waves emitted from it affect them.  Particularly, children and pregnant women are much and easily affected.

Early symptoms of “SMART” Diseases:

Checking the cell phones always to see whether, they have received any calls or messages involuntarily.

Some are always engaged with twitting, even while travelling in a train or participating in a function or
a meeting.  If they do not do so, they feel uneasiness and discomfort.  Having opened their E-Mail box, there are people who always examine whether they got any messages or not.  They will go on refresh the mailbox intensely.  If they fail to get the expected mail, they will experience un-easy feeling that results a total pause in the daily routine activities.

There are people, who can’t survive without a smart-phone with them.  According to a survey conducted by the World Organization 50% of the total smart phone owners develop this tendency.

Some always doubt whether their smart phone that is kept inside his/her pocket or hand bag has been ringing or vibrating. Often they indulge in checking them to confirm if their phone is ringing or vibrating.

Dryness in the eyes is developed if anyone uses mobiles, computers, or laptops continuously
for a prolonged period.  We know the fact for the proper functioning of our eyes; we need the moisture of our eyes.  It is maintained by the glands present in our eyes.  In due course of time, for these people, the eyes become incompetent to produce enough moisture and they develop dried eyes.  The symptoms also include redness in the eyes, itching sensation, swelling, burning sensations etc.

If you use the electronic tools continuously, without changing your position, you may develop neck pain or pain in the backbone.  This is because of keeping your body in a particular position continuously for a long period.

REMEDIAL MEASURES

  1. Don’t delve deep into your electronic items continuously for a prolonged period.  After returning from your college or office, spend sometimes with your family members or friends and engage in other activities such as cleaning, gardening or cooking.  If you are very tired, lie down in your bed and take rest. Keep those things under your control for your usage.  Don’t use them as a tool for entertainment or time passing.
  2. Pregnant women are advised to use cell phones very cautiously because; the rays emitted from it will be highly injurious to the normal health of the child.
  3. It is always good if you don’t keep your cell phones in your pocket for a longer period of time.  Here also the emitted rays affect your organs and organ systems
  4. If you are subjected to sit under a computer or lap-top for a long period, close and open your eyes now and so as to bring freshness to your eyes and change your posture often.  If needed get up and make a short movement. Above all do regular exercises to strengthen your backbone and other important organs.
